What are the surface treatment processes for stainless steel coils

Degreasing: Use cleaning agents/ultrasonic waves to remove oil stains and fingerprints, preparing for subsequent processes, suitable for pre-treatment of all roll materials.
Acid pickling: Dissolving oxidized skin and rust with an acid solution, while forming a passive film to enhance corrosion resistance. It is commonly used for rust removal of hot-rolled or cold-rolled coils.
Passivation: Strengthening the surface passivation film with chemical/electrochemical methods to further prevent corrosion, often combined with acid washing or used for storing coils in humid environments.
2、 Texture/Gloss Treatment: Customize Appearance, Adapt to Scene
1. Glossy type (controlling reflectivity)
No.1 (Hot Rolled Acid Wash Face): Dark and matte, with rolled lines, low cost, used in industrial equipment without appearance requirements (such as storage tanks).
2B (Cold Rolled Matte Surface): Uniform matte, flat, universal base surface, used for home appliance backboards, kitchenware inner layers, or subsequent process substrates.
BA (Cold Rolled Gloss): Soft Gloss, No Oxidation Color, Used for Home Appliance Panels and Decorative Strips that Require a Certain Gloss.
Mirror polishing (8K/10K): Highly reflective (8K clear imaging, 10K near mirror), highly decorative, used for decoration (elevator cars, hotel walls), bathroom hardware.
2. Texture type (texture/functional texture)
Wire drawing: divided into straight lines (anti slip and easy to clean, home appliance panel), random lines (matte surface not dazzling, indoor decoration), spiral lines (customized decorative parts), can cover scratches.
Embossing: Roll out concave and convex patterns (bean pattern anti slip used on stair treads, orange peel pattern decoration used on home appliance shells), with low cost of one-time molding.
